Unlike many cats, the Island Spirit 40 has a lot of deck storage:

The large deck lockers may be hard to open, but our old boat had latches which were awful to step on.

We recommend fins be kept in the locker closest to the companion way.

Charcoal should go in the locker just behind the helm. This is where the power cable and water hose are stored.
