Heads
Another really cool feature of the boat are the heads. While they are not the most spacious they are setup well. Each head has a Techma Silence toilet. These toilets are supposed to be bullet proof, but please don’t try to test them, ONLY TOILET TISSUE PLEASE. To operate the heads, there are two buttons on the bulkhead. The left button adds water, the right button flushes. If you do not need to add water, you can just use the right button.
To prevent splash and anything remaining in the bowl, about 15 seconds after the head has flushed it will "burp" and remove any remaining water from the bowl.

Another cool feature in the head is the protected toilet paper cover. This prevents the paper products from getting wet when you shower.
When showering, please use the shower curtain and place it in front of the door. This will prevent damage to the wood trim as well as prevent water from getting onto the floor outside.
Warning the hot water can be very Hot!
Under the floor is the automatic shower drain, due to the design, it will not completely remove all the water from the pan. We are working to modify this. If it is not draining, it is possible that the filter may be clogged, just lift the floor and remove any hair that may have accumulated.
In BVI there are no toilet pump out stations so do not use the holding tanks. In the closet in each forward berth are Letrasan Units. These are Type I MSD units, waste treatment units in layman’s terms. These will allow us to legally discharge overboard. As the Letrasan will make noise, it is your option to use them or not.
To use the Letrasan. The valves in the closet must be set to Letrasan rather than Holding Tank or Direct to Sea. The Letrasan Unit must also be turned on by a switch mounted on the wall in the closet. The Letrasan units take about 155 seconds/flush to treat the waste water. After 3 flushes/treatment cycles, it goes overboard. If you decide not to use the Letrasan please flush them at least 5 times with clean water to prevent sludge accumulation and smell. We are currently working on a solution to vent this closet.
