Aristo-Cat II House Rules

We try not to be too anal about the boat, but it is a huge investment. Here are some simple rules we would ask you to observe:

- No smoking below decks, we prefer no smoking anywhere on the boat

- Dry off before coming into the main salon. Wet salty bodies can ruin cushions

- Keep your sandy shoes off the boat. Rinse them and leave them in the dinghy or outside the companion way door

- When you leave the boat to go ashore, close all the ports and hatches. It can and will rain suddenly in the Caribbean. It doesn’t take long to fill a cushion with water.

- Close all ports and hatches while sailing. Sudden waves can also soak cushions

- Run the engines about 2500 RPM, only exceed that in an emergency.

- Use the shower curtain when showering in the heads

- Use all 6 fenders when docking

- The trampolines are not for jumping – you would be surprised how often I see this on other boats. They are simply net hammocks.

- When returning the boat to Horizon Yacht Charters, please remove all your bed linens and place them in pillow cases in the main salon. Turn off the freezer, leave the refrigerator on. Remove all food from the cabinets and place it on the table in the main salon.

- Treat the boat as if it were your own.

-  Latch all doors when underway so they do not bang

-  Not a rule, but for best ventilation at night, leave the doors ajar so air flows through the boat.

- Have Fun
